Because we didn't live in the time before Jesus, it's difficult to grasp just how good we have it on this side of His death and resurrection. Without Jesus, death would hold only fear and hopelessness. Without Jesus, life would just be something to endure instead of something to be abundantly lived. We would be powerless against sin with no chance for redemption. This work through the book of Hebrews focuses on how God sent His Son to change the course of history. Nothing other than Him can give you freedom, hope, and the greatest love of all. There is nothing better than Jesus!
