Dare to be a disciple : discipleship dynamics rediscovered

Author(s): Ranchord, Rasik

Second-Hand Books

Jesus promised his disciples life in all its fullness (John 10:10). What does that look like? It is a life characterised by a deepening love for God and people; a crystal clear sense of purpose; great joy, inner peace and freedom, contentment and ful? lment in the midst of trials and tribulations, demands and challenges here and now, and eternal blessings in the hereafter. That is his promise to us but has it translated into our everyday experience? The true depth and beauty of discipleship has been lost to the Church. Multitudes of professing Christians are frustrated with their faith. They feel bored, tired, disillusioned, short-changed and unfulfilled. This is a book both for Christian leaders and the people. If you want to experience and communicate the full life that Jesus promised, then this book is for you! Foreword by Bruce Patrick. Endorsed by Eric Roy MP, Anne Morrow, Murray Robertson, Mark de Jong, Tak Bhana, David Harrison, John White, Manoj Ranchord (NZ); Ambassador Virginia Benavidez (Philippines); Kevin Conner (Australia); Edmund Chan (Singapore); Dr Ravi David (India).

Product Information

"I am delighted to have had the privilege to read his book. Rasik's approach is a scholarly one. His work is scriptural and well-referenced. It is a textbook on discipleship that embraces his experience of more than 40 years in ministry. Those reading this book will be challenged and motivated to be active in the field of disciple-making." - Eric Roy (Member of Parliament, Deputy Speaker of the House, NZ) "Our faith challenges us to shift popular culture, to communicate hope in a new language. Rasik's call to rediscover the age-old tenet of discipleship is important ? the true cultural radicals are those who understand the light they hold and the perpetual need to engage with the world around them." - Mark de Jong (Founder and CEO Parachute Music)
